My name is Troy Edmisten. Friends call me Spoon. There’s not a cool reason but I can absolutely make one up for you. I’ve ran with the nickname ever since high school and I kinda like it.

I’ve lived in Ohio for most of my life and I’m currently based in Cincinnati.

With a rather abrupt change in career a while back, I left my roles in accounting to return to the creative path I had always meant to follow. Now I have years of professional graphic design and a growing freelance illustration business to build upon.

My work is mostly digital but I still appreciate the occasional pencil and ink. I like to keep my drawing styles stylized and slightly cartoonish with a touch of grunge. Both on paper or on a tablet.
